Trevor A. Dawes

Trevor A. Dawes, a founding partner of the consulting firm Inclusive Knowledge Solutions, has worked in the academic library sector for over 20 years, developing and providing service-enhancing training and professional development opportunities that positively impact library-wide projects and programs. Dawes also facilitates workshops on leadership and organizational development, and diversity, all designed to improve librarians' and library workers' knowledge, skills, competencies, and abilities. A published author and presenter, Dawes has written or edited books, book chapters, and articles and presented on various topics at local, national, and international conferences. His publications include book chapters on leadership in academic libraries, diversity, and organizational development. Dawes is an active member of the American Library Association, a past president of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), and the 2024 president of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL). He also sits on the board of several library- and library-related organizations. Dawes earned his Master of Library Service from Rutgers University and holds a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, both from Teachers College, Columbia University. His commitment to professional development has made him a leading figure in enhancing institutional effectiveness across the academic sector.

Inga Davidonienė

Inga Davidonienė is the CEO of the Lithuanian Audiosensory Library, a position she has held since 2019. In 2023 she received the award as the best library CEO in Lithuania. Inga is a Lithuanian Library Council member since 2020 and has presented at the IFLA conference on library accessibility and inclusion of older people. Inga’s areas of interest include accessibility of the information environment, inclusive publishing and the implementation of the European Accessibility Directive, and human rights advocacy. Before joining the Library, she was leading a design and publishing company. Inga holds a masters degree in Communication and Information sciences from Vilnius University. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, bicycling, going on mountain hikes, and dedicating attention to civil society education activities.

Dr. Karim Tahirov

Karim Mahammad oglu Tahirov, an esteemed Azerbaijani librarian and academic, graduated from Baku State University in 1978 with a degree in Library Science, qualifying as a highly skilled librarian and bibliographer. He pursued further education and obtained his PhD in History from the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) in 2009, later receiving titles of Associate Professor and Professor. Over his career, Tahirov has authored more than 10 scientific books and over 150 articles, while also compiling and editing more than 160 publications. He began his professional journey at the National Library of Azerbaijan in 1978 and later worked at the Ministry of Culture in various leadership roles. Since 2000, he has been a key figure at the M.F. Akhundov National Library, serving as Deputy Director before becoming Director in 2005. Tahirov’s significant contributions to Azerbaijani culture and library sciences have earned him numerous awards, including the titles of "Honored Worker of Culture", the "100th Anniversary of Heydar Aliyev (1923-2023)" Jubilee Medal, "100th Anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-2018)" Jubilee Medal and various national service orders, highlighting his lifelong dedication to the field.
