The Committee for the IFLA ILDS 2024 Conference taking place in ADA University, Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan extends a warm invitation to individuals to contribute their insights, initiatives, and practical knowledge through the presentation of posters at the event. The overarching theme for this conference is "Global to Local: Diversity and Inclusiveness in Resource Sharing."

This is an opportunity to contribute to the dialogue within the ILDS community by presenting posters that delve into the intricacies of resource sharing in diverse communities. Share your valuable experiences, expertise, and common interests with fellow participants. The dedicated poster presentation serves as a dynamic venue to facilitate these meaningful conversations, and specific timeslots during the standard conference days have been allocated for this purpose. Your active participation will enrich the collective knowledge and understanding of resource sharing challenges and benefits. Posters may be submitted in English or Russian.

Maximum and recommended poster size is ISO paper size A0 (900 mm (high) x 700 mm (width).

Those who are interested in the poster proposals, please send an email to ilds2024@ada.edu.az by October 11, 2024 with the following information:

  • Title: a title for the poster.
  • Proposer: include name, affiliation, and email address. Correspondence related to the conference will be sent by email.
  • Abstract: a description of the poster. Please be sure that your description is accurate.
  • Content: a description of the expected content of the poster. This should include an explanation of why the topic is of significance to the Resource Sharing community and why conference attendees will find the topic to be of interest.
